You will be amazed to know that the Malta archipelago is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. Today, it is an independent member of the EU and what is surprising still is the way it has metamorphosed into a casino hub.

Since around 2004, Malta saw a rise in the number of remote gambling applications, the figure is 450 plus also, approximately 2,085 people earn their bread and butter from the online gambling industry, and the numbers are increasing steadily. When it comes to fame of online casinos, the Maltese online casino is by far peerless.

As far as issuing online gambling licenses are concerned, Malta is definitely the leading jurisdiction in the world. Malta is experiencing an economic boom for sure, and the major credit goes to the online gambling industry.

Now, you may ask why is it favorable to set up a casino business in Malta?

The answer is simple; the primary reason is the attractive tax refund system that has boosted the innovation boom, in turn, has paved the way for considerable investment in this industry.

There are other reasons as well, such as the hi-tech infrastructure supported by high-end technology; diversity is yet another reason why Malta is so perfect for setting up a casino business. Furthermore, the pleasant Mediterranean climate and the posh lifestyle of people make them increasingly interested in casinos. What makes Malta so forward moving is the fact that the workforce is young and dynamic, always ready to put in their best.

Let us now find out how you can launch your casino business in Malta EU. Follow the steps and procedures to be successful in your venture.

The first step is to apply for the online gambling license that will be issued by The Malta Gaming Authority.

To apply for the license, you must have to fulfill the following requirements.

You must have a 3-year business plan in place that will include the marketing and sales plan, forecast balance sheets, and a financial plan revealing the finance sources, the shareholder funds, and other funds that must be mentioned categorically.

You have to show the amount of capital required for the class of gaming license that you are applying for; there are four classes in total. The costing for classes one and two is more than the costing for three and four, respectively.

Prior to the activation of your license, the authorities will conduct a systems test.

If you pass the test, your license will be active and valid for five years. Also, The Malta Gaming Authority will assign professional individuals who know the nitty-gritty of the casino industry; these individuals will carry out audits from time to time. So, basically, your business will come under scrutiny.

The Malta Gaming Authority is an autonomous body that is solely responsible for controlling the online as well as international public relations of this entire sector in the whole country. So, the power is in their hands, to put it simply.
