When it comes to betting on cricket online, you shouldn’t just place bets at the first betting site you come across. This is true for any sport or racing event you decide to bet on. Why? The answer’s simple: the first site you visit might not necessarily offer the best odds.

    Cricket

If you’re serious about getting the best value for your money when placing bets online, you should always try to find the best odds available. For many major and minor cricket matches, the odds for a particular bet can vary quite a lot from one site to the next.

The good news is that you don’t have to check loads of individual sites to find the best odds. There are a number of odds comparison sites where you can see all the current odds for various matches listed together in one place. These are a very valuable resource as they save you a lot of time and can save you some money by showing you where to find the best odds. A good site that compares the highest paying cricket odds is Cricket Betting.

Let’s have a look at how odds can vary. At the time of writing, Cricket-Betting has five different odds listed for the Sydney Sixers vs Melbourne Renegades match taking place on 25 January. The odds for a home win are 1.6 at LV Bet, NetBet and 10 Cric, while ComeOn has odds of 1.62 and 22Bet has odds of 1.67. For an away win, 10 Cric has odds of 2.1, ComeOn and NetBet have odds of 2.15, LV Bet has odds of 2.18 and 22Bet has odds of 2.2. As you can see, for a single match there can be several different odds to choose from. For some matches, the difference between the lowest and highest odds available across different sites might not be that great. However, it’s still very much worth going with the best odds, even if there’s not much extra money to be won.

Another site worth mentioning is OddsChecker. This odds comparison site lists the current odds not just for cricket, but also pretty much every other sport there is. It’s another very useful resource you should make use of it you want to find the site with the best bets to place.

So, if you want the best value for your bets, use comparison sites to find where the best odds are being offered. Don’t forget about sign-up bonuses too. Betting sites offer special bonuses, such as free bets and refunds on losing bets, to those who are creating a brand new account. These are worth taking advantage of since they can make your money go further and provide insurance in case your bet doesn’t succeed. If the site that offers the best odds for a cricket match happens to have a good sign-up bonus, your bet could end up being very profitable indeed. Get into the habit of shopping around before placing cricket bets and get more value for your winning bets.
