Brussels struggled to cope with its biggest ever terror alert this week. Amid fears of Paris-style attacks, the civil servants of the European Commission did their best to make business as usual, with many working from home.
A shortage of news and developments from the EU Institutions means a shortened version of the newletter this week. Hopefully the tension for the people of Brussels will ease and allow a semblance of normality next week.
