The EU Commission is mulling regulation to protect consumers against the many cyber dangers, and also to ensure fairness between online and traditional taxation regimes. However, it will be aware of the dangers of regulation that impedes growth or that could stifle the use of innovative technologies which can be of great benefit to consumers.
