In an ever-digitalising world, Welzo intends to fill in the gap in a lagging healthcare system.

While the NHS continues to prolong waiting times, new solutions are arising on the market. ‘Welzo’ is the latest Med-Tech company tackling this, by utilizing state of the art instant health tests ocombined with doctors lead AI insights.

Welzo’s slogan “Your healthcare, without the waiting rooms” will remove the hassle of the traditional healthcare system, providing patients with faster care and cheaper treatments. Their model will allow patients to be tested, treated, and informed – all from the comfort of their own homes.

The website will deliver an extensive range of testing for all needs, from Fertility, STI, Dietary and Generalised health tests to Allergy, Lifestyle and Sports Performance, among others. This one-stop-shop will also give patients their results in a quick and easy manner, allowing them to then order their treatments all from the same website. Welzo will provide current and educational medical news from local and international writers, to provide patients with all they need to be informed about their health.

This new model intends to reduce irritants typically associated with the healthcare system. The structured five-step process aims to be simultaneously easy and accessible for all users.

First, patients can fill in an online consultation form, discussing their lifestyle and areas of concern – this will allow Welzo to suggest the best test for their individual needs. They are then able to order the test and have it shipped right to their front door. From there, depending on the test, the individual will likely collect a small finger-prick blood test sample and send it to a lab for AI-based technology to analyse and ascertain any points of interest or concern. These results are then viewed by GMC registered doctors who offer the best treatment option, which can be ordered from Welzo’s online pharmacy and delivered to your door.

What Are the Benefits of Digitalised Healthcare?

Welzo intends to bring healthcare into the modern era. Allowing patients to get the healthcare they need without long queues and complicated procedures. This new venture will take huge strides in progressing individualised treatment and patient welfare. Just as other industries have progressed into the digital space, healthcare is just as manageable and can be even more beneficial when taken online.

Welzo’s interface is simple and functional, showcasing their tests, products, and informational pieces all in one place. Even though this system will cut out the face-to-face aspect of healthcare, Welzo will still provide patients with the same level of professionalism they would get from their GP, however this time, from the comfort of their own homes. This is also enabelled by their ability to connect local doctors, international labs and hundreds of pharmacies to patients in one seamless interface.

As an end-to-end healthcare platform, Welzo will provide its users with everything they need for excellent daily functioning and optimal health.
